Only after the Panchayat Raj Officer, Darbhanga and Block Development Officer, Kusheshwar Asthan, Darbhanga were directed to appear in person and pay a cost, which has been done now that a counter affidavit has been filed, petitioner has been paid her remuneration for the period of work she had rendered as the Gram Kachhari Secretary.
So far as her reinstatement etc. is concerned that is matter to be verified from the records, for which steps have already been taken.
Patna High Court CWJC No.3344 of 2015 dt.04-05-2015 2/2 Officials, who have appeared in person, have assured the Court that a final decision on the claim of the petitioner will be taken within a period of three months.
The Collector, Darbhanga must ensure after the receipt of the report of the officials that he will take a decision within the time-frame indicated above. Writ application now stands disposed off with above direction.
The personal appearance of both the officials now stands dispensed with.
