2. At the very outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach before the respondent nos. 5 and 9, the Vice-Chancellor, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya and Vice-Chancellor, Patliputra University, Patna for redressal of their grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed, within a period of two weeks from today, the respondent nos. 5 and 9 shall dispose of the same after affording opportunity of personal hearing or through their counsel by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

4. Respondent nos. 5 and 9 shall be liable for noncompliance of this order within the stipulated period.

5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim of the petitioners.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
