Looking at the nature of the allegations and the findings, the minimum punishment, which could be awarded upon the petitioner, has been awarded. In normal course of things, if he was not a low paid employee, the punishment would have been far greater than what has been imposed upon him.

2. Petitioner is lucky that at least he has not been deprived of his service and he will continue to derive pension, whatever be his conduct as a government servant.

3. No interference is warranted with the impugned order. Writ application is dismissed.
