Patna High Court CWJC No.6972 of 2014(15) dt.03-08-2022 2/2 by which the entry made in Column 4 of item

(6) of the second schedule of the "Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970" (in respect of State of Bihar), relating to grant of degree by the State Faculty of Ayurvedic and Unani medicines has been substituted "from 1953 on words" to "from 1953 to 2003".

In other words, the validity and jurisdiction of the "State Faculty of Ayurvedic and Unani medicines" to grant the degree of "GAMS" (Graduate in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) has been restricted till 2003 in a retrospective manner."

Learned counsel for the petitioner, under instructions, states that, in view of the intervening developments, the petition may be permitted to be withdrawn.

Prayer allowed.

Petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
