2. The petitioner has filed the instant application for apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468, 472, 473/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Prosecution case in nutshell is that petitioner had allured the complainant and other persons on the pretext of providing Government job in Police Department

No.31945 of 2024(6) dt.11-02-2025 2/3 impersonating himself to be a senior police officer and for that he took total Rs. 15,18,000/- (fifteen lakh eighteen thousand rupees) from the complaint and others, out of which Rs. 5,28,000/- (five lakh twenty eight thousand rupees) was paid in the bank account of the petitioner by the complainant. It is further alleged that petitioner came to the house of the complainant and gave a letter stating that the said letter is for interview. When the complainant went to the concerned office, he came to know that the letter is forged and fabricated.
4. Both the parties mutually settled their grievance and in that course, petitioner is agree to pay Rs. 5,28,000/- (five lakh twenty eight thousand rupees), which was earlier paid by the informant in his account, within a period of ten weeks from today.
5. As per above mutual settlement, petitioner is directed to pay the aforesaid amount, by means of demand draft in favor of the informant, within a period of ten weeks from today.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31945 of 2024(6) dt.11-02-2025 3/3 in the facts and circumstances of the case as stated above, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of ten weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender in connection with Complaint Case No. 1621 of 2022, he will be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate II, Bhagalpur, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
7. The bail bond of the petitioner will be accepted by the trial court on showing the demand draft of Rs. 5,28,000/- (five lakh twenty eight thousand rupees) by the petitioner, payable in favor of the complainant. (S. B. Pd. Singh, J) Nirajkrs/- U T
