The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307, 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 385, 387, 504, 506, 121(A) of the Indian Penal Code, section 27 of the Arms Act, sections 4/5 of the Explosives Substance Act and sections 16, 17,18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of the U.A.P. Act As per the prosecution case, it is stated that four accused persons came and threatened that the work should not proceeded with till the levy has been paid. Subsequently, on work being carried out, it is stated that they came and hurled bomb, caught hold of the informant and also threatened him. The informant was injured.

No.39083 of 2021(3) dt.21-02-2022 2/2 It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the First Information Report was registered against the 1520 unknown persons. The name of the petitioner transpired when in a connected case some accused persons were caught and they disclosed the petitioner to be one amongst them. It is submitted that no material has transpired in course of investigation to connect the petitioner with the alleged crime. The petitioner is in custody since 26.02.2021 and charge sheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case including the petitioner having remained in custody for almost a year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No. 532 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui.
