The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1) That this writ petition is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs and order/ orders in the nature of Mandamus for directing and commanding the respondents to transfer the ownership of the Housing Plot bearing C.H.-7 situated at Road No.-8, Sri Krishna Nagar, P.S. Kotwali, District & Town- Patna in the name of the petitioner, in the event of demise of his mother Ahiya Khatoon wife of Late Rafique Rahman who is allottee of the said

Patna High Court CWJC No.8298 of 2022(3) dt.31-07-2023 2/2 residential writ and recorded her name for which the petitioner has already applied in proper format enclosing required documents and further for any other relief or reliefs for which the petitioner entitled in the facts and circumstances of the present case."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievance. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
