2.The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khusharupur P. S. Case No. 268 of 2022, dated 13-07-2022, instituted for offences punishable under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code ( for short 'IPC') in which charge sheet has submitted under section 304(B) and 120B/34 of the IPC.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the informant's daughter was married to Satish Kumar @ Bittu Kumar according to Hindu rites. At the time of marriage, the informant gave dowry to the accused. After one week of marriage, the accused persons started torturing the daughter of the informant, demanding Rs. 2,00,000/- and a cow as dowry. Later, the informant received information that the accused
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29193 of 2025(2) dt.15-05-2025 2/3 persons had killed her daughter for non-fulfillment of the dowry demands.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and she has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the allegations against the petitioner are general and omnibus in nature, with no specific overt act attributed to her. The petitioner happens to be the cousin sister-in-law (Bhabhi) of the deceased's husband. It is also submitted that the petitioner has no concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband, as she has been living separately in mess from them. The petitioner has been in custody since 26.11.2024 and has no criminal antecedents. The charge sheet in this case has already been submitted.
5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned District and Additional Sessions Judge 1st Patna City, Patna, in connection with Sessions Trial No. 806 of 2025 arising out of Khusharupur P. S. Case No.

7. The application stands allowed.
