1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Giriyak (Katrisaray) P.S. Case no. 504 of 2022, registered under section 365/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, it is stated by the informant that his 75 year old mother was taken away by the accused persons with the intention of getting a sale deed executed in their favour. The informant further states that he is convinced that Praveen Kumar as also the petitioner herein have a

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No such occurrence as alleged has taken place. Referring to the order dated 1.8.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. no.1789 of 2023 granting anticipatory bail to co-accused Praveen Kumar. It is submitted that his case stands on a similar footing to that of the said coaccused. Further, as per instructions received, no sale deed has been executed in favour of this petitioner or the members of his family.

5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation, especially the grant of anticipatory bail to co-accused Praveen Kumar vide order 1.8.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. no.1789 of 2023 and no sale deed having been executed in favour of this petitioner, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Giriyak (Katrisaray) P.S. Case no. 504 of 2022 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand)
