The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Rajauli P.S. Case No.79 of 2019, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant got information that petitioner was selling liquor from her house and on such the house of the petitioner was raided and 40 pouches each containing 200 ml. country made liquor were recovered from the house of the petitioner but the petitioner managed to flee away. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a lady and the recovery was made from the joint house but it appears that the petitioner was living alone in the house and there was inputs that it was petitioner who was selling liquor from her house. Thereafter eight litres of country

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27531 of 2019(2) dt.29-04-2019 2/2 made liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
