In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Rampur P.S. Case No.02 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420 and 406/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made against the petitioner and other co-accused persons that they have took altogether Rs.56 lacs from different persons by various modes as well as cash on the pretext of giving ministerial job in the department of Agriculture and they have also gave forge appointment letter. Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37069 of 2018(2) dt.03-07-2018 2/2 for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
