This is an application for quashing the F.I.R. bearing Shakurabad P.S. Case No. 77 of 2017 registered for the offence under Section 406, 409, 420, 120B of the IPC and Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

The mere deposit of the defalcated amount does not absolve the party from the criminal case. This application is being pressed on the ground that the petitioner being a Chairman was accused of defalcating some money and he has deposited the same. This application has no merit. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
