====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJENDRA KUMAR MISHRA ORAL ORDER ----------- 16-11-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Shrinagar P.S. Case No.100 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 384, 447, 387 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation of the informant is that in adjacent to his house situated in village-Mangalpur, the house of the petitioner and Binod Mukhiya is situated and both used to give pressure upon him to sell the house otherwise he would be killed. The petitioner and the co-accused Binod Mukhiya blockade the path of the house of the informant by putting the garbage. When the informant made protest then the petitioner and the co-accused

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54191 of 2017 (2) dt.16-11-2017 2/2 Binod Yadav started to abuse him and made demand of Rs.1,00,000/- as ransom from him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the informant are co-villagers and due to some dispute, the present case has been lodged by the informant to put undue pressure upon the petitioner. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender by him within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Shrinagar P.S. Case No.100 of 2017, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) P.S./- U T
