The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 624 of 2018 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code and section 4/40 of the B.M.M.C. Rules, sections 3,6 and 8 of B.M.M.(Illegal Mineral Transportation and Storage), Rule and section 15 of the Forest and Environment Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is the driver of the Tractor, having valid Driving License. He is quite innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to local politics.
