Patna High Court CWJC No.12317 of 2018(2) dt.06-01-2020 2/3 "(I) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of CERTIORARI for quashing the office memorandum no. 11013/9/2014-Estt (A-III) dated 21.11.2014 issued under the signature of the Respondent no. 3 whereby and whereunder a decision has been taken to use an AADHAR Enabled Bio-metric Attendance System (in short AEBAS) in all offices of the Central Government including attached/sub-ordinate offices, in India.

(II) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of CERTIORARI for quashing the letter dated 30.12.2014 issued by the Ministry of Railways, Railway Board whereby and whereunder a direction was isued for implementation of AADHAR Enabled Biometric Attendance System in the Indian Railways by 26th January, 2015 and it has also been decided to replicate the same on Zonal Railways in a phased manner.

(III) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of CERTIORARI for quashing the Information-cumorder dated 25.04.2018 issued under the signature of the Respondent no. 6 whereby and whereunder a direction has been issued in case of non-making of attendance on the basis of AADHAR Enabled Biometric Attendance System since 01.05.2018, the employees will be declared on leave.

(IV) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of MANDAMUS, commanding and directing the Respondent authorities to left free the employees to make their attendance on the basis of AADHAR Enabled Biometric Attendance System."
