2. The petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court seeking a direction upon the concerned respondent to appoint the petitioner as Gram Kachahri Sachiv under the Gram
Patna High Court CWJC No.7653 of 2026 dt.16-06-2026 2/3 Panchayat Raj, Rampur under Gogari Block of District Khagaria.
3. It is submitted that in terms of Bihar Gram Kachahri Sachiv (Niyojan, Seva Shart and Kartabya Niyamawali 2002) the petitioner was duly appointed. However, such appointment was questioned by one 'Toni Kumari' before this Court in CWJC No. 13764 of 2010, which came to be disposed of on 04.04.2018. The said 'Toni Kumari' was extended the liberty to file a complaint before the concerned SDO, who has further been directed to pass a reasoned order after giving opportunity of hearing to all the parties.

In pursuant to the direction of this Court dated 04.04.2018 passed in CWJC No. 13764 of 2010, the matter was considered by the Sub Divisional Officer, Gogari and a final order has been passed under Memo No. 1733 dated 02.12.2019. From the order aforenoted, it appears that in the year 2018 itself, one 'Soni Priyanka', was duly appointed as Gram Kachahri Sachiv and she is getting honorarium since October, 2018.
5. Learned Advocate for the State submits that neither the order of SDO, Gogri contained in Memo No. 1733 dated 02.12.2019 nor the appointment of private respondent 'Soni Priyanka' has been questioned before this Court.

Having considered the submissions advanced and taking note of the preliminary objection raised by the learned Advocate for the State, this Court finds that in absence of any challenge to the order whereby the claim of the petitioner has been turned down by noticing the fact that the private respondent no.12 had already been appointed in the year 2018 itself, whose appointment has also not been questioned, the writ petition cannot be maintained by seeking a direction for appointment of the petitioner.
7. In view of the aforesaid position, this Court doesn't find any reason or occasion to entertain the writ petition. Accordingly, the same stands dismissed.
