JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 08-01-2015 The petitioner happens to be the informant of Inarawa P.S. Case No. 49 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364, 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

He has filed the present writ petition with a prayer to direct the respondents to conclude the investigation of the aforesaid case as early as possible and to apprehend the culprits of the said case without any delay.

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1188 of 2013 (2) dt.08-01-2015 2 / 2 Admittedly, the matter is still under investigation. The FIR was instituted on 13th July, 2013. It relates to a serious offence. There is no doubt in my mind that a sensitive and committed investigating agency is need of the hour. Learned counsel for the State has submitted that investigation of the case is being carried out in a proper and impartial manner and the investigation of the case would be concluded as early as possible. However, he submits that some times complexity of the crime takes its own time to solve the mystery.

Be that as it may, at this stage there is nothing before me on the basis of which a conclusion can be arrived at that the investigation is not being carried out in a proper manner. In that view of the matter, I find no reason to keep the matter pending before this Court. However, it is expected that the investigating agency would take all possible steps to conclude the investigation of the case as early as possible and to apprehend the persons found to be involved in commission of the crime.

With these observations, the application is disposed of.
