The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a)/38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

25 liters of country-made liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Submission is that the house is occupied by other family members also. The petitioner is in custody since 22.03.2019.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27200 of 2019(2) dt.25-04-2019 2/2 Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Duraundha P.S. Case No.54 of 2019, with condition that petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
