JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-03-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- " That this petition is being filed for direction to the Respondent No. 3 to give adequate compensation amounting to Rs.10 Lacs as compensation with upto-date interest to the petitioner as his boat was stolen in the flood of 2008 while it was in the service of the Government."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Saharsa for redressal of his aforesaid grievance.
