2. The petitioners have prayed for bail in connection with Jamo Bazar P.S. Case No. 435 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80(2), 61(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the daughter of the informant was married to one Acchelal Pandit on 11.05.2025. She was being subjected to cruelty on account of the non-fulfillment of dowry demand. It is also alleged that she was hanged by the in-laws.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that petitioners are innocent and have committed no

He also submits that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law, and they are aged about 76 years and 60 years, respectively. He further submits that from perusal of the postmortem report, it will transpire that the doctor conducting the autopsy of the deceased has found only a ligature mark on the neck and the cause of death is asphyxia due to hanging. He also submits that actually the deceased has committed suicide. Moreover, a statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they are languishing in judicial custody since 18.12.2025.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. The above named petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Siwan in connection with Jamo Bazar P.S.
