JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 25-10-2019 This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Madaurah P.S. Case No. 73 of 2019, disclosing offences under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Nobody has appeared on behalf of the petitioner, however, learned counsel for opposite party no. 2 is present. It further appears that earlier the matter was referred to Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Center for settlement of dispute and the report of learned Mediator has been received, which is kept on record, from which, it appears that that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of Mediation on the basis of one time settlement of Rs. Six Lakhs and cheque of Rs. Six Lakhs has been handed over to

In such view of the matter, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Madaurah P.S. Case No. 73 of 2019, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
