JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-09-2017 This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for quashing the First Information Report bearing Piri Bazar P.S. Case No. 14 of 2015 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471,420, 409/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the FIR, it is alleged that the petitioner obtained employment on the strength of forged and fabricated matriculation certificate fraudulently drew salary.

In my considered opinion, the allegations in the FIR do attract ingredients of a cognizable offence. In that view of the matter, I see no merit in this case.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed.
