Learned counsel for the opposite parties has submitted that in view of the report of the Executive Engineer dated 12.4.2014 the amount of Rs.40,39,513/- has now sought to be settled and adjusted and a communication has also been sent to the office of the Accountant General for making payment of admissible amount of retirement benefit as well as arrears of salary.

Patna High Court MJC No.6352 of 2013 (2) dt.24-04-2015 That being so, when the learned counsel for the State has also assured that he will personally persuade the authorities to make payment of admissible amount of retirement benefit and the arrears of salary as may now become payable on account of adjustment of Rs.40,39,513/- from the petitioner, this contempt application is disposed of with a direction to all concerned to ensure that the admissible and payable amount of retirement benefit as well as arrears of salary must be paid to the petitioner within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt of this order.
