2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Supplementary Special (NDPS Act) Case No. 87 of 2024, arising out of Banmankhi P.S. Case No. 174 of 2024 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(C), 21(C) and 25 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per prosecution story, total 2040 bottles containing 100 mL each of codeine cough syrup and 4000 ampules of intoxicated injection have been recovered from the house of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner, rather the recovery has

He is a reputed businessman and owns a Sah Medical Agency dealing in wholesale business of medicines since the year 2016 and no complain was made against the petitioner and he has been arrayed in the category of accused in this case due to political rivalry as his wife succeeded the Election of Ward Parshad of Banmankhi Nagar Parishad. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 05.02.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, NDPS Act, Purnea, in connection with Banmankhi P.S.
