2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No. 219 of 2022 dated 02.08.2022 registered for the offences punishable under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, two unknown miscreants riding on a motorcycle are alleged to have snatched the bag of the informant in which Rs. 2,30,000/- was kept and they also fired on the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

The name of the petitioner has sprung up in the confessional statement of the co-accused, Veeru Kumar @ Jani @ Karia, who has already been granted regular bail by this Court vide order dated 21.07.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 41369 of 2023. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has 23 criminal antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody in this case since 23.03.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Saran at Chapra in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No. 219 of 2022, with following conditions:- (i) The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34652 of 2025(3) dt.06-08-2025 3/3 failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bonds of the petitioner are liable to be cancelled. (ii) If the petitioner is found involved in similar nature of offence in future, the prosecution will be at liberty to move for cancellation of his bail bond.

(iii) The petitioner is directed to mark his attendance before the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned police station at 10:00 A.M. on every Monday of the week and in the event of his failure to do so on two consecutive occasions, the present privilege of bail will stand cancelled by the concerned Court below.

7. The application stands allowed.
