====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-04-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioner, who is in custody since 14.12.2020 seeks bail in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 567 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 394, 397, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui.
From perusal of the record, it appears that vide order dated 08.03.2022, a report was called for regarding progress of trial from the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Jamui. In compliance of the said order, vide letter No. 10, dated 22.03.2022, it has been reported that the next date is fixed for framing of charge.

No.39762 of 2021(4) dt.11-04-2022 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and seriousness of the allegation and progress taken in conduct of the trial, as informed by learned Sessions Judge, Jamui, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected. However, the learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously, well within a period of one year.
The S.P., Jamui is directed to take all serious measures to produce the prosecution witnesses on each and every date fixed by the trial Court.
