Chalk and cheese cannot be equated. It is an old saying in English. But if it is adopted in real parlance, in given facts, it will be evident from the pleading of the petitioners that they may be cheese or they may be chalk, but they are not equal. Petitioners are Clerk, working in the Muffassil, but would like a direction for consideration of appointment in the limited competitive examination, which is being held for Circle Inspectors of the Revenue Department.
Patna High Court CWJC No.3756 of 2015 dt.24-04-2015 2/2 The two cadres are different. The service conditions are different. There are two separate rules which govern them. If this be so, then every benefit is not meant for everybody, merely because he happened to be a government servant.
Writ application, therefore, is dismissed.
