2 Petitioner has participated in the process of selection for the post of Constable. It is her submission that she had done well in the written examination and, thereafter, was called for Physical Eligibility Test. It is submitted that in one of the events that is long jump, she was subjected to some foul play and was coerced to take test twice and under these circumstances, she has been disqualified in the process of selection. Reason has been assigned that she has not qualified the long jump test as she did not cross 9 feet.

That is a representation filed before the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna dated 13.04.2015. 4 Respondents, in the counter affidavit, have placed on record the Physical Evaluation Test Sheet of 12.04.2015. The petitioner has put her signatures in the said Test Sheet wherein she has been shown as FAIL in the Long Jump Category. The signature bears testimony of the fact that she was declared FAIL on 12.04.2015 itself. The representation (Annexure 6) bears no receiving of any Authority and cannot be relied upon by the petitioner to contend that she has raised any objection on 13.04.2015. The petitioner was disqualified on account of having failed in the Long Jump Test.

The entire issue, which has been placed on record by the respondent-authorities, does not leave any doubt. Petitioner was rightly disqualified from the process of selection, since she had not qualified in long jump event. 5 Writ petition is devoid of merit and is dismissed.
