2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Bachahan P.S. Case No. 03 of 2023 for the offence under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC lodged on 01.01.2023 by the informant, Nandu Devi.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that while she was fast asleep, after the dinner, the theft took place in her house. Earlier, she had seen the petitioner and one Madan Sahani roaming around her house, and as such, she has a reason to believe that they have committed theft. This led to the FIR.

4. Subsequently, during the course of investigation, the role of the petitioner and Madan Sahani came into light and

5. Though learned counsel for the petitioner tried to impress upon this Court regarding enmity due to being a local, learned APP opposes the prayer submitting that his role has been identified and he has criminal antecedents of the same nature.

6. Taking into account the aforesaid submissions, no relief can be extended to the petitioner.
