However, the facts, which have been presented to this Court through the writ application, paint a rather grim picture in the matter. Petitioner decided to walk out the University on the pretext of going for study leave and the manner in which he has come back at his discretion and joined the college and is supposed to be performing his duty, without approval indicates something amiss. There is nothing obviously on record to show that the University has taken any decision.

Be that as it may, let the respondent University authorities take a decision on the claim of the petitioner in accordance
