JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH) 01-04-2022 The petitioner was earlier granted a licence to run a Fair Price Shop under Public Distribution System in the year 1997 vide licence No. 11/1997. It is the petitioner's own case that he ran this PDS shop till April, 1999, but, thereafter, he was forced to move out of the village in question and could not run the said shop thereafter.
This writ application has been filed seeking direction
Patna High Court CWJC No.12402 of 2021(3) dt.01-04-2022 2/2 to the respondents to restore the said PDS dealership licence with immediate effect. In our opinion, this writ application is thorougly misconceived as the petitioner himself abandoned the shop though he was granted licence in 1999 itself. After more than 22 years, he has approached this Court seeking relief as noted above.
This application is accordingly dismissed.
