1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this writ application is being filed for direction to the respondents concern to grant revised pay Scale and grade pay scale thereafter consequential benefit to the petitioner as the petitioner retire from the post of Tracer from the Water Resource Department but till date despite the requisite qualification revised pay scale has not been given to the petitioner without any valid reasons and / or pass such any order/orders, writ/writs, direction/directions for which the petitioner is found

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondents/State has referred to paragraph no. 15 of the counter affidavit filed in the present case to submit that the case of the petitioner shall be considered in the next meeting of the Screening Committee, as far as his grievance regarding nonpayment of the revised pay scale is concerned.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Chief Engineer Plan Monitoring Geospatial, Water Resources Department, Patna i.e., the respondent no. 2 to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of revised pay scale and pass a reasoned and a speaking order in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
