The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sheohar P.S. case No. 78 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Section 467, 468, 471 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that he got information that some persons are illegally withdrawing money from the accounts of workers/ labourers. On such, raid was conducted and two persons, namely, Raju Kumar and Sikandar Das were arrested along with withdrawal forms. It is further alleged that petitioner being Rozgar Sevak, Mukhiya, Junior Engineer, Programme Officer and others are indulged in withdrawing money from the accounts of different labourers without getting the work done under MANREGA.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55493 of 2017 (2) dt.12-12-2017 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is Rozgar Sevak. The petitioner was not found near the bank. The persons who were apprehended have already been enlarged on bail. The Branch Manager and other officials have been granted anticipatory bail.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner above named in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in connection with Sheohar P.S. case No. 78 of 2017, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
