Mr. Ram Bilash Roy Raman ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJENDRA KUMAR MISHRA ORAL ORDER 25-04-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case no. 664 of 2018, registered under Sections 447, 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 379, 385, 354(B), 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that Fulo Poddar, Vijay Poddar, Ashok Poddar, Nawal Kishore Poddar and Vikash Poddar variously armed with weapons came at the door of the informant Nirmala Devi, ward member of the villageKaushalpur, and started abusing her. At that time, Fulo Poddar attacked through country made pistol saying that the demand of

On hearing the noise, granddaughter of the informant came then Sonu Poddar with bad intention tried to pull her. Thereafter, Ritesh Poddar and Ranjit Poddar tried to outrage her modesty and in that course, they snatched golden chain from the neck of her granddaughter. When Sunny Kumar and Chhotu Kumar rushed to save the informant then both the petitioners caused injury to them through lathi. At that time, Fulo Poddar caused injury at his head and rushed to Police Station. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both the petitioners are ladies and due to grudge and enmity, they have falsely been implicated in this case with allegation of causing assault to Sunny Kumar and Chhotu Kumar, who are grandsons of the informant. The petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioners, be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Amarpur P.S.
