1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That through this writ application the petitioner above named is invoking the writ jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court for issuance of writ of Mandamus commanding the respondents to restore the land to the petitioner pertaining to Khesra No. 861(New) corresponding to old Khesra no. 482 & Khesra No. 493 (Old) having an area of 185 feet long which is the raiyati land of the petitioner as it has been converted into road without its acquisition by respondent no. 5 after removing

Patna High Court CWJC No.9710 of 2014(4) dt.01-05-2024 2/2 structures there from in the absence of the petitioner & also to compensate the loss occurred due to its conversion into road."

2. After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Deputy Development Commissioner, Samastipur for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the Deputy Development Commissioner, Samastipur, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
