The minor daughter of the petitioner was abducted. Even though the FIR lodged by the petitioner indicated the names of the accused persons, neither were they arrested nor the minor daughter was recovered. However, during

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.884 of 2023(2) dt.04-07-2023 2/2 the pendency of this petition, the daughter of the petitioner has been recovered and she has given her statement under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. as well.

The petitioner laments that the investigating agency is giving a long rope to the accused persons and have not yet arrested them.

The investigation ought to be conducted properly and impartially.

However, as on date, there would be no purpose of proceeding ahead in the present Habeas Corpus petition which is disposed of as consigned.
