The petitioner is in custody since 05.10.2021 in connection with Pranpur Roshan P.S. Case No.150 of 2021 registered for offences under Sections 272 and 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 41 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

There is recovery of 136.440 litres of foreign liquor from the vehicle and not from conscious possession of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has two antecedents of similar nature and he is in custody since 05.10.2021, he shall be released on bail, after framing of charge or on completion of one year in custody whichever is

No.31710 of 2022(2) dt.20-08-2022 2/2 later, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 4th Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Excise Court No.2, Katihar in connection with Pranpur Roshan P.S. Case No.150 of 2021. The petitioner will visit Pranpur Roshan Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
