The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Obra P.S. No. 29/2016, registered for offences punishable under Section 392, 395, 412 and 120 B of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. but later on it transpires that the petitioner is accused in five other cases and all are on similar footing and except the confessional statement of other co-accused persons, there is nothing against the petitioner and he has been made accused only the basis of suspicion.

Learned A.P.P. Opposes the prayer for bail.

n In view of allegation against the petitioner, above named,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40489 of 2018 (2) dt.12-07-2018 2/2 I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected with a direction to the petitioner that if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below and makes prayer for regular bail, which will be considered by the learned court below on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order of this Court.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
