BAJANTHRI) 08-08-2023 The present MJC-contempt is filed for noncompliance of the order dated 25.04.2013 passed in LPA No. 1925 of 2012.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is entitled to 8% interest on belated settlement of back-wages which was stated to be paid on 26.03.2015. The same is disputed by learned counsel for the respondents stating that back-wages have been calculated and disbursed on
Patna High Court MJC No.4591 of 2014(5) dt.08-08-2023 2/2 30.04.2013 within the time limit stipulated by this Court vide order dated 25.04.2013 passed in LPA No. 1925 of 2012. The respondents were stated to have preferred Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) No. (s)-23816/2013 and suffered order on 08.08.2013. In this backdrop, the petitioner is stated to have joined the service on 19.02.2015, thereafter, certain difference of amount has been paid on 26.03.2015.
3. In the light of these dates and events there is a compliance of the order dated 25.04.2013 passed in LPA No. 1925 of 2012 on 30.04.2013 itself. Accordingly, the present proceeding of MJC-contempt stands dropped.
