JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 02-02-2016 By way of the present application under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report (for short "FIR") of N.H. Bangra P.S. Case No.23 of 2015 dated 21.4.2015 registered under Section 135 of Electricity Act, 2003.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the FIR as contained in annexure-1 to the present application. The allegations made in the FIR do attract ingredients of Section 135 of the Electricity Act.

In that view of the matter, I find no illegality in institution of

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.542 of 2015 dt.02-02-2016 2/2 the FIR. Accordingly, the application, being devoid of any merit, is hereby dismissed.
