JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-05-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent authorities concerned to implement the order of the Permanent Lok Adalat, Siwan, passed in Miscellaneous Case No.55 of 2007 by which the maintenance of Rs.5000/- per month has been fixed by the Permanent Lok Adalat, Siwan in favour of the petitioner, but since July, 2013 the same is being not paid by the private respondent no.6.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3409 of 2014(3) dt.01-05-2024 2/2 (ii). For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent authorities concerned to pay 1⁄2 of salary of the private respondent no.6, the husband of the petitioner as he is not maintaining his legally wedded wife as he is in trip of the assistant teacher, namely, Minu Kumari Sinha.

(iii). For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent authorities concerned to pay the amount directly in favour of the petitioner so that she might be able to survive along with her children and lead a peaceful and dignified life."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
