The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.a. To Register the sale-deed dated 14.05.2013 executed by petitioner no. 1 in favour of petitioner no. 2, which presented for registration on the same date on the same valuation as mentioned in the sale-deed which was the minimum estimated value of the property on prevailing date that is, MVR."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous during the interregnum period, hence the petitioners do not wish to press the present writ petition.
