2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite once the land having been acquired and award prepared, only 80% of the amount has been paid and 20% still remains unpaid since 2013.

3. The Court finds the situation to be unfortunate and, thus, was of the opinion that strict order were required to be passed. However, learned counsel for the State submitted that the matter be adjourned for a month to enable the authority to pay the admitted amount to the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the District Magistrate, Patna (Respondent No. 2) and the Land Acquisition Officer, Patna (Respondent No. 3) to ensure that whatever remaining amount of the compensation award which remains to be paid to the petitioner, is paid within one month from the date of production of a copy of this order before them.
