The petitioner is aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondents in the matter of grant of Arms license. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is a government contractor, he is engaged in construction work in big way. Petitioner applied for grant of Arms licence but the same is pending consideration before licensing authority since 15.10.2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that necessary recommendations from all concern have been met, yet

Patna High Court CWJC No.8547 of 2019(2) dt.22-04-2019 2/2 final decision in the matter of grant of Arms license has not been taken by the licensing authority.

Considering the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed with direction the D.M. Sasaram at Rohtas shall take appropriate decision for grant of Arms license, if not already taken within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid the, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
