Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act-2016.

It is alleged that total 3844.440 liters of foreign liquor were recovered from different vehicles.

It is submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is neither driver nor owner of the vehicle in question. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the

Learned counsel for the State submits that petitioner has got two criminal antecedent of similar nature. Considering the facts of the case as also the fact that petitioner has got two criminal antecedent of similar nature, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
