2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code, registered in connection with Complaint Case No. 1965 of 2023.

3. According to allegation, the petitioner who is the husband of the complainant, tortured her for nonfulfilment of demand of dowry and he has solemnized his second marriage and due to this reason, it is not possible for the complainant to reside with the petitioner.

4. For an amicable resolution of the dispute, both the parties took adjournment on 04.09.2025.

5. The petitioner has filed a supplementary affidavit stating therein that for one-time settlement, he is ready to pay Rs. 2,50,000/- and can also make payment of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30628 of 2025(7) dt.07-10-2025 2/2 Rs. 2,500/- per month, as maintenance, to the complainant.

6. The learned counsel for the complainant has submitted that the complainant (o.p.no.2) does not agree to the proposed amount of Rs. 2,50,000/-, as one-time settlement, since the amount is too meagre.

7. Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st, Begusarai in connection with Complaint Case No. 1965 of 2023, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall make payment of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand) per month, as maintenance, to the complainant(o.p.no.2).
