The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Kanti P.S.Case No. 82 of 2008 registered under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the allegation that the petitioner strangulated his wife to death in conspiracy with his family members and the post mortem report corroborates the oral allegation, I am not inclined to grant him prearrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
