The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 186, 187, 188, 290, 291, 353 of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29307 of 2022(2) dt.18-10-2022 2/3 Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of the Epidemic Diseases Act and Section 51(B) of the Disaster Management Act.

The prosecution case as per F.I.R is that 8 named accused persons including the petitioners along with the mob had illegally confined the persons of Moharram Committee and were pressurizing the District Administration to let them form a Moharram procession on the eve of Eid-Minnad-Ul Navi. It is further alleged that the named accused persons were leading the mob and started pelting stones in the police party causing injury to the informant.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are quite innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. It is further submitted that the petitioners have no concern with the alleged demand of Moharram procession.
