The petitioner is in custody in connection with Vaishali P.S. Case No. 105 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 30(a), 32(ii) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 21.03.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 1143.72 litres of liquor was seized. He also submits that the petitioner has been made accused in the instant case because he is the owner of the vehicle, from which the liquor was seized. Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28529 of 2019(2) dt.30-04-2019 2/2 (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum- Special Judge, Excise Act, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Vaishali P.S. Case No. 105 of 2019.
