2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No.422 of 2022, arising out of Mahila P.S. Case No.09 of 2022 registered on 28.04.2022 lodged under Sections 376 of the Indian Penal Code and 4 of the POCSO Act, which has been earlier rejected vide order dated 22.09.2022 in Cr. Misc. No.37307 of 2022.

3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 29.04.2022.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

5. A progress report has been called for and from the said report it transpires that the trial is expected to be concluded

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30434 of 2023(4) dt.02-08-2023 2/2 within 6 months, as such, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in connection with S.Tr. No.422 of 2022, arising out of Mahila P.S. Case No.09 of 2022 pending before the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kaimur, Bhabua.

6. With this observation, the bail application stands rejected.
